Shame on me! I haven't been keep up on the blog. My spare time is spent with Brynnlee. I love watching her any time that I can. I will quickly fill in the past two months and hope that I can explain in more detail soon!
In August we went to the U.P. for another trip. We spent some time on the boat, Derek and Kathy came up, and Brian and Jessica and Mike came down from Marquette to visit. We had awesome boat rides and spent a lot of money in repairs. The trip was another great one to add to the books!
The night we arrived in Munising we stopped at camp to drop off Pat who rode with us. Brynnlee took her first steps that night! It was 4 quick steps, almost like running. Today she is easily taking 10 steps, standing up, squatting down and back up and so much more. She points at everything and asks "what's that" and "who's that". I love being able to tell her what everything is. Right now she easily can also say mom and dad, but she has also said monkey and dance (plus many more babbles that are possibly words)!
Brynnlee is an awesome kid! She is an angel for my mom when she watches her and does great with people. We had a dinner tonight with some of the firefighters. She laughed and played with everyone. Melissa and Joe had Maddie there, it was so much fun to watch the two girls play. They were a little rough together, but hopefully we can get them together more often! At the end of the night Brynnlee was done and ready for bed. She is a child of habit. She needs her crib, her monkey and darkness. If she isn't able to lay on her belly she can't fall asleep. I remember waking up every few hours panicking about whether she was still on her back and breathing ok. I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders once she hit 10 months. I feel like my infant is gone and a toddler has replaced her.
Having a toddler isn't a bad thing, but I do miss my little bug!
Next weekend is her FIRST birthday already! I can't believe how fast she has grown! This past year has been a roller coaster....one amazing fast roller coaster. I wish there was more time in each day to spend with her, more money in our bank account so that we didn't have to work and could stay home and spend all day with her. It is so awesome to just watch her learn and grow. She is so smart and catches on to things quickly! She's such a smart cookie.
I know this blog was a hodge podge of info. Everything was thrown together...and took almost an hour to write. I never have free time, and when I do its never to sit and write in the blog. Soon I hope that I will have free time and will be able to write on a consistant basis! Until then, be patient please. I'm trying my best!
