21 weeks, 3 days

Today Brynnlee is 21 weeks and 3 days...she is growing like a weed! At her last doctors appointment she was 16 pounds 5 pounds and 26 inches long, the appointment was on January 26th. She had to have another round of shots. Of course its tougher on me then it is on her! When the nurse made the first poke Brynnlee let out a blood curdling scream. I felt terrible, but I know its for the best. The doctor was very impressed with her progression and gave us permission to start veggies and fruits! On January 30th we began sweet potatoes! She loved them! After four days we went to peas, then after 4 more days onto bananas. We are working on carrots, but ready to switch again already! Next up are pears! We try a next solid for 4 days to see if allergies develop, if not we are ready for the next food! Some days are still better then others, but she loves to eat and is already getting so excited when she sees the bib or food bowl. She attempts to hold her own bottle, some days she will hold it the entire time and most days she looks at me like I am crazy! This week we have changed her schedule a little. In the morning she will get her bottle with a bowl of cereal (sometimes with some fruit added). Then at lunchtime she will have her bottle and a fruit. She then has just a bottle mid afternoon. During her early evening bottle she will have a vegetable. Then her final bottle of the day has some rice cereal added to it. She is doing great at night still, but she is starting to roll over in her bed. It makes me nervous, but so far she is doing wonderful! She likes to sleep on her side a lot.

About a week ago she started to fully roll over from her back to her tummy. She also has rolled from her tummy to back a time or two. She gets very irritated when she rolls onto her tummy. So I have to watch closely to keep her entertained. She is really starting to enjoy toys and playing with them. Currently she loves to chew on everything! The first two teeth are fully through the gum and growing! She is showing signs of more teething, but no swollen gums so it may be awhile. There are a few favorite toys that Brynnlee has. She still loves Ellie of course! Now she also loves her cloth book that crinkles when she plays with it, her Laugh & Learn puppy, her vibrating bee and her toy that attaches to her carseat. When she accidently makes the toys make noise she gets so excited.

Last night we had a "photo session" for Valentines Day. She loved playing with the feather boa.
