On June 3rd my cousin Brittney graduated from high school. Jeff had to work, so Brynnlee and I went and met the rest of the family there. Brynnlee laughed and danced while the band played. She was so loud that it distracted the students from paying attention to the ceremony. Instead they would glance over to see what she was doing. It was so funny and cute! Afterwards we went to pick up Applebee's for dinner and headed home to meet Jeff for dinner.
This past weekend we headed to Youngstown Ohio for Pat & Jen's wedding. Jeff was in the wedding, but had to work both Friday and Sunday. We left the house around 7am and made it to Youngstown at 10:30. Jeff, Ken and Pat went to have lunch and a few beers before the wedding. Brynnlee and I went shopping, then to the hotel room we booked for Pat and Jen. Brent and Leslie met us there to help watch Brynnlee while I showered and prepped for the wedding. We set up the room with rose petals, snacks and tulle. We then headed to their ceremony which took place in a old church located in Boardman Park. The church was warm, but the stained glass was gorgeous to look at. After the ceremony they had a break for photos, so Brynnlee and I went shopping again! We headed to Target to buy a few things, but of course Babies R Us was next door...so we had to stop in there as well. We then headed to the reception hall for dinner and dancing. They hired a wedding singer who played a wide assortment of songs. Brynnlee loved it and clapped the whole time! She ate her snacks and a good portion of my dinner as well. She looked amazing in her outfit, and everyone complimented us on how beautiful she was and how well behaved. Towards the end of the night she was done though. We chanegd her diaper, changed her into pjs and Jeff walked around saying his goodbyes. During this time she fell asleep in his arms. She was so tired, but she loved the music, playing with Ken and seeing everyone. All the attention was on her and she was so excited.
Brynnlee has learned a few new things! She has learned how to point and clap. Its so cute and I love it so much. Next she will be talking and walking. I love watching her grow, learn and am constantly amazed at her! She makes me giggle daily!
Yesterday we went to a surprise birthday party for one of the firefighters. Maddie and Brynnlee hugged on each other and talked! It was hilarious! They played with plastic cups and hung out in their strollers. Brynnlee did amazing this weekend. I couldn't ask for a better baby! We are so very lucky to have her!
Oh and last Thursday was our 4 year anniversary. Jeff and I headed to Nagoya, a Japanese restaurant in Perrysburg. We had a lot of fun and definately need to have a grown up dinner again soon. We were lost without Brynnlee, so after dinner we went to pick her up and spent the rest of the evening at home with her.
